Teledyne FLIR E6-XT Thermal Imaging Camera
The Teledyne FLIR E6-XT Thermal Imaging Camera has an infrared sensor with a thermal resolution of 240 x 180 pixels and thermal sensitivity of 100mK. The extended temperature measurement range of -20˚C to 550˚C means that the camera has multiple applications across a wide range of industries and readings are accurate to ±2˚C. A fixed focus, 45˚ x 34˚ field of view allows the user to scan large areas very efficiently.
Thermal images are shown on the FLIR E6-XT’s 3” colour screen and three different colour palettes available: black and white, rainbow, or iron. Notably, the thermal camera has an inbuilt digital camera which can produce a visual image to sit alongside thermographs. It is also used for picture-in-picture, image blending and FLIR’s trademark MSX® image enhancement feature. Above and below Isotherm alarms are available and the camera will give a centre spot temperature reading and min/max readings in a box area.
Thousands of thermal images and accompanying visual images can be saved to the FLIR E6-XT’s large internal memory and this is easy to access via a gallery system on screen. Data can be transferred via a standard USB cable to a PC or wirelessly to the user’s smartphone thanks to Wi-Fi connectivity. All the user needs to do to access this feature is download the free FLIR Tools Mobile app.
The FLIR E6-XT is IP54 rated meaning it is highly resistant to water and dust ingress and it has also been drop tested from a height of 2m. It is therefore sturdy enough to withstand the challenging conditions of day-to-day use. It is covered by FLIR’s comprehensive 2-5-10 warranty and comes supplied with a hard carry case and a charger.
