The Teledyne FLIR ETS320 Thermal Imaging System for Electronics Testing, whether the goal be product testing or scientific research, is an ideal and affordable solution designed to detect abnormal heat signatures. Heat can often be a crucial indicator of how a system is functioning, thanks to the ETS320 test technicians and engineers working with printed circuit boards or other small electronics can collect temperature data quickly and accurately. Encompassing a wide temperature range of -20°C to 250°C this imaging system is sensitive enough to detect temperature shifts less than 0.06°C with a measurement accuracy of ±3%. A hands-free laboratory tester for quantifying heat generation and thermal dissipation with an aim to greatly improve product design.
Featuring a 320 x 240 IR sensor, the FLIR ETS320 utilises 76,800 points of non-contact temperature measurement to rapidly locate hot spots and potential failure points. For broad initial scans the true 45° field of view (FOV) and high level of measurement accuracy promotes quality assurance and factory acceptance of PCBs. Analyse entire sections simultaneously with flaws such as designs issues presented clearly and immediately within the crisp 3″ LCD display.
Designed for work on bench tops, the ETS320 Thermal Imaging System is both quick to set up and boasts intuitive, simplified features designed not to draw focus from the task at hand. The integrated telescopic style pole mount with adjustable height, creates a simple hands-free system suitable for use in the lab or even an educational setting. The ETS320 records standard radiometric JPGs with all 14-bit measurement data included. Interfacing with PC and Mac devices via USB Micro ports, this IP40 rated device includes a rechargeable battery with 4 hour continuous life span. The system comes complete with a licence for the standard FLIR Thermal Studio Suite software, perfect for advanced image analysis and creating professional quality reports.
